Stuff always happens but lately I’ve been really busy.

I didn’t really get psyched up for formal.

Sometimes you are in the wrong place, at the right time.

I’m hoping this week will be an eventful one.
I missed out on soccer yesterday for ‘optiminds’ (the new tournament of minds). ‘Optiminds’ wasn’t the most enjoyable thing I’d ever done, but it was cool hanging out with friends.

On Friday, I went back to my old high school, Mansfield, for the school musical. The musical was ‘Olivia’. I liked it. I think my favourite part was the dancers. I loved how the directors managed to work the song ‘poker face’ in even though the story line revolved around the subject of orphans in early 1900’s.

I saw a lot of the people I used to hang out with at school. To me, they didn’t seem to have changed much.
But you know what’s weird? I feel like I’ve changed heaps.
I think QA has changed me a lot more than if I stayed at my old school.

For the better or worse? I guess I’ll never know.

Some of my friends were disappointed that I haven’t stayed in contact with them. I can understand how my friendship with them has distanced over time, but if both people don’t put in the effort to stay in contact, they are both to blame right? =/
I don’t know. I feel like I’m usually the one who gets tasked with the ‘job’ of keeping in touch.

So I want to go and look at Universities in Sydney this week.
Maybe I’ll book my flight tonight.

My brother, my sister and I are pretty good friends.
Yesterday Martin was sick.
He is so much quieter when he’s sick. I guess we all are.

In the afternoon I went bowling with some friends. It was good cause the alley was deserted.

We got in trouble by the old man who runs the place for throwing multiple balls down a lane at once.

After bowling, Mum dropped me off at my friends house.
He was having a small party.
To celebrate finishing EE and WL, I thought I should go.

After the party, my friend dropped me off at Sam’s house.
We played guitar, and watched very very funny youtube videos all night.

Today I had soccer and the girls won again.

However, my plans were thwarted by my parents when they found out I was going to see you while you were working; and for such a short time.

This is a rather cool little van isn’t it?

My daddy and I went out today.
I like spending time with him. He’s like a big brother sometimes.

We went to Sunnybank and had uber-nice Vietnamese food.
We got ice cream’s and talked about genetic mutation and Chinese drivers. You know, ‘man to man’ stuff. ;].

OH! We went to Asian photos too! lol.
It was awkward for a little while;
Sitting in a booth with only your Dad, staring a small camera with weird Asian rock music blaring in the background.
But I thought it was awesome.

You know,
It’s weird how much you can change as a person in the matter of days.
I was on camp, and I look back, and I see it as something that will stay with me forever.

I got closer to people,
I made new friends,
And I grew to love those around me more then ever before.

There were so many great experiences,
And it’s times like those that I wish you could have come.

On the last day there was a bit of a surprise,
We were all given envelopes.
We didn’t know what was inside,
And I wasn’t sure.

We were told to spread out across the camp site.

I found my own little space.
On a small hill, the sun beaming down on me, but the air so cool.

I opened the envelope.
It was from my family.

I cried.
And it was uncontrollable.
I just cried until I could no more,
Then I thought about the love that I have for my friends, and for my family.
And I just started to cry again.

It’s so difficult to get caught up in ourselves,
And I just realised the love that people, my family in particular have for me,

And I realised how lucky I am.

I want them to know I love them.
All those people who love me.

I was at home all day.
It was alright.

I don’t like walking through that place behind the museum; the walkway where you can hear the sounds of the whales as they hang ominously from their wire in ceiling. There is only one reason why, one niggling reason that sits at the back of my head, it’s sad, but I don’t think I'll ever share it.

I bought three packs of hubba bubba bubble gum and fit them all in my mouth. It was so tasty. That’s what she said.
I formed a mouth guard with the gum then went up to the information desk at the library to ask the lady whether I could get this awesome political journal I found in electronic copy.
I wanted to see whether she would say anything about the obviously ridiculous amount of bubble gum in my mouth, but she just talked and starred intently at my mouth.

I punched her in the face then saved a virgin from being thrown to the flames.

I’ve been home all day doing study; finishing my extended essay and looking at my TOK essay again. It’s been pretty relaxing.
Everyone has been out since 11. Gosh, only if you weren’t working; we totally could have monopoly’ed or guess who’ed it up. ^^.

I think I should have come up tonight, just to hang out with you and David. But hopefully you don’t spend as long hard core partying and get some much needed sleep for your long day tomorrow. ;D.

I really enjoyed it. Everything. It went too quick.

It was my brothers birthday today, I really enjoyed taking him out with Bernice. We went to the Planetarium but due to my lack of organization I failed book a place to watch one of the movies projected on the roof. But I promise I will next time.
We went to south bank and ate, then Martin and I saw transformers.
It was so much better then I expected.

Martin really loved his presents from you. He’s been playing with his bumble bee since he got home and reading me jokes. He doesn’t get half of them cause they’re so lame, but I don’t think he cares.

It’s my brothers birthday tomorrow so Olivia and I set out to get him a present. I’m getting him a ukulele. Awesome right?

We spent ages in Toys’r’Us playing with all the dancing dolls.
This smiley green mono-browed monster was my favourite.

I found a wiggles guitar.
It’s DA BOMB, all their best tracks in one easy to operate musical machine.
I rocked out on it for a couple of minutes.

It felt like we spent ages at the store and when we met back with Marty and Mum, he was ready to punish us.
Not really, but he looked funny with his balloons.

I saw Eric, and if you don’t know who Eric is, he is the sexiest IT technician on the whole QASMT campus. He was getting his $20 gift voucher from Westfield when purchasing over $120 dollars worth of goods. You heard it here first.

Martin asked me today whether I would still be his brother if I married you. It’s a weird question for a 7 year old to ask right?
I told him I’d always be his brother no matter what, and he just smiled and gave me a hug.
I think that’s the best thing that happened all day.

I woke up late.
It was good. I had to walk my sister to her dancing class to pick up her costume for the weekend. I’ll be missing the performance so I guess it’s the least I could do. ;D.

I decided to ride to Carindale. I couldn’t find my pump for my bike tires so I went to the service station to use their pump.

I didn’t take long to get there cause the ride was down hill but I had to go slow because my tires were flat. I got there and awkwardly tired to pump up the tires, but the sun was beaming down and I got disorientated fast. I accidentally, and this is difficult to explain, created a small tear in protruding connection between where the pump attaches to the tire.

It was rather unfortunate as I had to walk all the way home which was a very long way.

But Sam had come over by then and we decided to take a bus to Garden City to get a hair cut and pick up some t-shirts for him.

It was enjoyable and I saw people from my old school that I haven’t seen in years.

Sam came back to mine and I made pasta for everyone. It was fun.
I was going to go to his house, but I decided to stay home and do some school work.

What sort of superhero do you think I am? I can stay up till 11pm.
Actually, I can do whatever I want; I’m Taiwanese, half-French. xD.

I was woken up early by my mummy knocking on my door and timidly asking me to help her finish her tax return. Strangely I was hoping for something like this so she would owe me. After I helped her I told her I was going out and ran to my bus.

I met up with Caitlin and Dylan (feelings floppy Dylan? lol) and we went up north, to the land of the ~~sophisticated~~ Caboolture people. They are so quaint, I keep coming back up. ^^.

We spent most of the day on public transport, but you know what;
I didn’t really mind. I wanted to do whatever you wanted to. ;].

Sorry about your friends, I hope you enjoyed today. Did that banana smoothie make everything worth it? ;D.

I wasn’t really meant to go out of the house today. But I did anyway. I bribed my parents by helping them do their tax return and I offered to look after my brother for the day.

We went to the national park. ;D.

Although we had Mr.Martin the police man, we still found time to enjoy each other’s kiss. I liked our game of hide and seek. When I got home Marty told me he knew what was really going on; nudged me with his elbow and winked. Little brother’s are funny like that.

These two are the cutest.

Martin really likes word searches. I think it was that moment you found that transformer’s name that he really started to think you were cool. Did I tell you that he leaves a word search book in the car at all times so he can practice his word searching abilities? It means a lot to him.

Maybe next time we can run up escalators on the wrong side and tie our selves into buses using our scarves; we can just be kids.
I’ll always remember today, cause it was just that special.

I had a get together with all of the families from my soccer team today.
I thought it was going to be gay and I was going to die of boredom talking to the elderly about how I train the girls and what I want to get out of life etc.
But I had a really good time.

I practiced my Korean with a Korean tourist named Amy.
ahn-ong-ha-say-yo ^^ (I think that’s right).
She loves soccer.

1. I taught Taylor how to do big kicks.
2. The girls and I spent ages making up rhymes and chants for our team.
3. I bluetoothed ‘I’m bringing sexy back’ by Justin Timberlake to all the girls and they thought I was the coolest. (H). Chyeah. lol.
4. We had an adults verses kids soccer match. I was on the kids side (of course), and we kicked the adults butts.

It was so fun.

Gosh; the parents thought I was weird wearing my scarf whilst I played soccer, but when I took it off they started to tease my about my rare skin condition that has seemed to have taken the form of large hicky like indentations around my neck.

I felt like I was in primary school as the adults called me names like vampire bait and hicky boy. But I didn’t mind.
I beat them up.

Not really. I beat their children up.
Not really. I just imagined beating up them and their children up.
Not really. I just took it on the chin like a REAL man. (H).

Actually I didn’t do any of that, I ran to my parents, got into the usual defensive fetal position and ate chocolate to fill that empty space. xD.

Hmmm, I don’t get teased in school, so maybe it’s time that I got my share. ;D.

At about 3 my parents dropped me at Southbank and I met up with the gang. Musu and Mylo. We were going to watch Transformers, but it was packed. We walked to the city and didn’t really know what to do.

So being the cool gang we are we went to fortitude valley. We had food at this Thai place that took ages to serve us. The girl was friendly and the old lady called us all darlings, so I didn’t feel as bad about waiting.

By the end I couldn’t wait to relax in my bed at home.
My legs were sore and Martin wanted me to teach him magic card tricks. He is so amazed when I do the ol’ pull the coin from behind the ear trick. God, it’s the oldest one in the book; actually, it was probably before even the book, like the oldest one passed down through oral history or rock carvings.

I want to sleep, but Sam is coming over to edit some video and just do some general cool dude things.

We had a cultural party today. It was fun.
My computer bag got covered in sugar but I didn’t mind.

We went to go shopping after school. My mum always forgets something, and this time it was her wallet. She’s a jester.

This is my brother. He likes to read. I’m convinced he’s going to be something cool when he grows up. Like an astronaut, or guy who gets to follow golf balls with a camera for television. I’m probably going to be a leech brother, living off his income for the rest of my life.

Was it foggy for you today?
It was for me. We studied all morning, played soccer at lunch, and chatted over boost juices in the afternoon. Finishing the day early is swell.

We were given a talk by Bena about our true purpose in life. What are we put on the planet for? How are we going to help humanity? Stuff like that.

We were meant to write down what truly made us angry, what we fight against in life. I said bullies. Cause they’re just plain mean.

I didn’t go to bed till 3am this morning. I wanted to be more like Mr. “Never Sleep” Musu. ;D.
I woke up at a wonderful 5.30am.
I really didn’t want to go to school, but I want to take other days off this week, so I couldn’t skip today.

As per usual, Dad dropped me off at South bank and I made my own way to the city, then school.
Everyone on the train packed together, like a pack of poppers; but they didn’t tessellate as well as poppers.

I felt weird; enclosed in layers of clothing, my bag on my back, my extremely large umbrella and my lunch box clutched in my left hand and my biology text book in my right, which I tried to balance as the train wobbled nervously.
It was so wet. (That’s what she said ;D).
Unlike many, I really enjoy the rain. Everything feels so much cleaner and the air just that more breathable.

I didn’t shave today. =O.
I don’t think I have since Thursday.
You’re right Musu; it is very cave like.
Lucy doesn’t seem to mind the look? lol personal joke ;D.
Zainab (my psychology teacher) doesn’t like it.
But I’ll be seeing you soon; So I guess I’ll just have to shave. ^^.

Zainab rang my parents today to tell them how well I did in psychology. I didn’t really believe her when she told me, but she did. Mum was happy to hear first hand that I have been going well in psychology.
Hopefully that sort of balances out my failing of Biology.

I was in a retro mood today.
I downloaded a program that imitates the old DOS system. Remember Windows 95’? Lemmings?

They were the days. ;D.

We were meant to have another game today but it was called off Because of rain. It poured down. I really enjoyed it.
So as we waited for the parents to come pick us up,
We had fun in the mud.

I was there once more. In Ipswich, watching as the girls did well to hold out the team on top of the leader board. Western Spirit, that’s what they’re called.

My morning began like any other. I was woken up by a call from one of the girls parents, asking where the match was and for some advice on what to feed their children before the game.
I can’t believe I get asked that. >.<

I rolled out of bed still wrapped tightly in my blankets and like a vampire, I shielded the blinding sun from reaching my eyes.

My family was out.
They usually are of a Saturday morning.
Doing shopping, taking Martin to soccer; just going out.

I like it.
I love having that freedom when nobody’s in the house. Being able to run around, not being told by your little sister that you have to wear pants. ;D.

For most of the morning, I studied biology and watched a movie on how cells function. I also played on that sound making device.
My fingers hurt. =/.

As we drove to soccer I calmed my sisters fears of a miserable defeat. She just didn’t believe in herself. My sister does that a lot. With a lot of things. I really want her to be the best she can be, but she always takes it easier then she should, and often get’s less then what she could.
But talk of potential has been drilled into me ever since high school, so perhaps this has been obscuring my view of her all along and I’m expecting too much.

As we reached soccer the team was already there. I was en retard as the French would say and quickly ran down to greet the parents with smiles and handshakes, hiding my nervousness.

The team ran on.
The only thing I asked of them, was that they give it their best.
And they did.

The team that other teams have been losing to 24 nil, we beat.
What a boost.

Never before have I wanted the final whistle of the game to be blown so much, but our slender lead of a goal hang in the balance many a time, with at least 5 of their shots hitting the top cross bar.
When that piercing shriek of the referees whistle did ring out, the parents and I jumped in the upmost exuberance.

High-fives were thrown around like you would be if you happen to find yourself in a large commercial front load clothes washer on spin cycle.

When we reached home, we were exhausted. So many emotions. Too much for one day. I tried studying but I found myself drifting off, for some reason imagining what life would be like if I grew up an orphan; not having anyone.
My head hurt when I thought about it, and my heart did a little too.
Oh how bi-polar my emotions can be.

I had my dinner and confined myself to the Biology syllabus once more. Circle of life? Ah, I’m missing a lot of things at the moment.

Training was difficult tonight.

I stayed back after school to study biology with one of the tutor's.

We got up to 2.1.1 in the syllabus. I was proud.

I'm not feeling great. I'm missing you.

Did you know that karate and judo are cool?
Surprising. But true.

I began the day by absolutely annihilating two examen's.
And by examen's I mean exams, and by annihilating I mean...
I'm stuffed to the gluteus maximus.
I did all the option papers. Of which we were meant to only do 2.

I'm hard core like that. ;D.

Argh. Gosh. Blah.
Each represent a distinct feeling of uncertainty
with my probability of passing Biology this term.

But I don't mind. Most of my IA's are out of the way,

I spent the day looking at dysfunctional psychology.
I tricked my dad into thinking I caught a fly with chop sticks,
My brother and I talked in jibberish the whole day,
And I played on that instrument,

in the movie Dune.

All in all it was relaxing.

I had three papers today.

English, French and Chemistry.
I really don't think I did well on my French.
I was really silly and just...don't think I did well =S

I did alright with my other two though.
I got to the city and my bus was delayed.

Hopefully I do alright with that.
I was studying all Saturday...So I should...pass.
